Availability search

An availability search is a search into prior identical and similar trademark applications as well as trademark registrations. We strongly advise you to make a search into the availability of your trademark. It is important that you do so before registering or using the trademark.

The availability search will allow you to ascertain whether identical or similar trademarks have already been registered. If a third party owns prior rights to an identical or similar trademark, he may object to the registration of your trademark. The search might also reveal identical trademarks registered for similar products and/or services.

Report

The search report will include a list of possible obstacles. We regularly carry out searches in the Benelux; A search in the entire European Union  is also possible. If the results are urgently needed they can be delivered within 24 to 48 hours.
