Good Idea!

The documentary Good Idea which Teleac broadcasted on Sunday 27 December 2009 was about Dutch inventors and entrepreneurs investing best efforts to make their dreams come true.

Patent attorney Mr. Hans Bottema from Nederlandsch Octrooibureau had been involved in patenting the ‘mobile skating rink’ for Ice World. Hans prepared the patent and successfully conducted the patent granting procedure. The makers of the mobile skating rink then found out that the invention had been copied down to the smallest details in Poland.

 

Nederlandsch Octrooibureau is capable of pushing patent infringers off the market. In Poland the infringer eventually took out a licence and has now become an agent for Ice World.
