Jessica joined Nederlandsch Octrooibureau (The Hague) in 2007. Previously she worked as assistant professor and research associate at TU Eindhoven (Netherlands, 2006-2007) and Imperial College London (UK, 2004-2005).
Jessica works for various research institutions and companies in the pharmaceutical, chemical and food industry. Her technical background is in organic chemistry, physical chemistry, electronic materials and spectroscopy.
Jessica holds a M.Sc. degree in physical-organic chemistry from the University of Groningen (Netherlands, 1999). She obtained a Ph.D. in physical chemistry from the Interfaculty Reactor Institute of TU Delft (Netherlands, 2004). Her Master's thesis was awarded the Strating Prize (2000) and her Ph.D. thesis a DSM Award for Chemistry and Technology (2005).
